"There are so many bad reviews on here I cannot relate to! I love Dr. Chen and everyone working here! Although, I have braces on longer than I ever anticipated (part my fault for not coming here for a year because I moved to OC) ... also, I did have them finished and removed, but I had to have them put back on for a minor fix I wanted and Dr. Chen didn't charge me too much for it. I was not super happy with a tiny gap in the middle of my front teeth and Dr. Chen gladly added them back and is currently fixing them as of now. Yes, Dr. Chen is slightly cheaper but that does not mean his work isn't just as great or better than someone that is more expensive. Many of my friends got their braces done by Dr. Chen and are so happy with their results. My other friend even went to another orthodontist when she was in high school and came with me to get her braces redone with Dr. Chen (our other friend recommended him). Another friend got his braces done elsewhere more expensive and told me he was not happy with his results and wish he came to Dr. Chen. I love Dr. Chen and this office because I've missed so many appointments or always running late and they always accommodate and try to fit me in! All the people I know that came to Dr. Chen are truly happy with their teeth!"

"I lost my retainer 2 years ago and decided to stop by at doctor Chen's office. The staff were able to locate my medical record from 12 years ago. Super fast service! I was in and out less than 30 mins."

"Yes the long waits are true--but the reason is that he has a lot of patients, which is a good thing people. So now that I am in dental school, I have been pouring my own models of my teeth--and I realized that not only did Dr Chen give me pretty teeth (btw I am a terrible patient who never wears the retainers as prescribed)--but he also gave me MIP=CO with no external excursion. Basically, in lament terms, it is pretty teeth and scientifically functional. Most orthodontists are not able to do that."

"Dr. Chen is very nice to me and my entire family. My family of 11 adults and children together all came here for our braces. My teeth looks awesome right now and all my friends are shocked. Although the wait time may be long, he always give you his full attention when it is your turn. I am still using my retainer and come here to check and adjust the retainer periodically. "I use to go to Dr. Chen in 1990 back then there was no Yelp. I was in my early 20's. I was recommended to him by Dr. Akashi a ophthalmologists I use to work for in the late 80's. I remember the wait being long but it was always expected because he was always fully booked. I never had any problems with him. He was a quiet man and always quite busy. I wore my braces for about 3 yrs., my teeth were pretty tight and didn't want to move. Thanks Dr. Chen for giving me a great smile. Now about 27 years later I still wear my retainer."
